What we did in San Diego

We walked, walked and walked. Then we walked and walked some more. And walked, walked and walked again. If we didnt work off everything we ate, I would be shocked.

We got a couples massage on Saturday. I have never seen Steve so relaxed! He was a big ball of Stress and Tension!! It was nice to be able to relax and let someone take care of us!

On Saturday night we went to Hennesy's...and Irish bar...and watched the UFC fight between Lidell and Evans. I'm not a person that really likes to watch these types of things but being with Steve and being out watching it, I do admit it was exciting.
We had a few drinks and dinner and watched Evans knockout Lidell. It was a surprising outcome and worth every minute of it.

Sunday morning we went to Pacific Beach for breakfast and found out that the Carolina Panthers were playing the San Diego Chargers in San Diego. I wanted to get us tickets but we were cutting it a little close. So we went back to Pacific Beach and sat a restaraunt and watched the game on a big screen. We left at half time because it didnt look like the Panthers were going to win. We heard later from Matt that they had won by ONE point and 2 SECONDS to go!!! GO PANTHERS....LETS KEEP ROCKIN!!

Needless, to say we had the time of our lives. It was a nice beginning to the days ahead. It was also a nice ending to your days of deployments...HOPEFULLY!!

The Mayberry's visit Pacific Beach for the last time :(

Pacific Beach is a beach that Steve and I have went to since we live in San Diego. It couldnt have been more beautiful!
